Lackluster and the Wrecked
In the spring of 2025, my Senior Project was unveiled at the Westmont Ridley-Tree Museum of Art. Lackluster and the Wrecked is a five-piece exhibition.
Sometimes, we find ourselves entangled in the gears and cogs of daily life— the relentless machinery of routine and expectation. In this five-piece exhibition, I place my character against weathered car panels, intentionally creating tension between stillness and motion, flesh and steel, the personal and the industrial.
Through layered materials and graffiti, I engage in an act of resistance— a push against the imposed shapes of society, a movement toward liberation, toward reclaiming form and freedom from the rusted molds of the everyday.
